Noel Owen Memorial Cup

What a Fantastic Evening and a great tribute to noel the night was, with every team making the effort to be at such a great venue as the Caernarfon Town Football Supporters Club is.

First i Would like to thank all those who set up the tables early on Wednesday morning Anthony Ashcroft Colin Jones and Kevin Roberts, also to our Treasurer for setting and having the idea to run the event in the first place. And To CTFC committee who helped the league out by putting the tables back the following morning.

I would also like to thank Photographer Joe Griffiths for taking some marvellous photo`s during the comp, Photo`s can be purchased either by contacting me or anyone from the committee, Team Photo`s are 8x6 in size and cost £5 each all monies recieved for the photo`s joe has kindly donated back to the league as well as sponsoring the Noel Owen Memorial Cup.

And to john Rhys Owen (League Chairman) and Robin Bowden (CTFC B) for volunteering to referee the Semi Finals.

Looking Forward to next years event all ready, Hopefully the league will have a lot more of these events in the furure

The Quarter Finals of the Noel Owen Memorial Cup will be held on Wednesday 24th of February 2010. Club doors will be open as usual at 7:00pm teams to be there for 7:15 at the Latest, the Draw will be made on the night 4 tables will be setup in the Club`s Lounge.

Joe Griffiths of Tyn`Llan has kindly volunteered to be there to takes team Photo`s even if you are not taking part why not come along and enjoy the evening.

	The 4th NWOT event will be held @ Caernarfon Town Football Club on the 31st of October 2009 Entry fee - £15 (£2.50 of each entry to go towards players fund) U18 - Half Price Registration before 10am Start time 10.30am Early rounds - Best of 9 Quarters - Best of 11 Semi - Best of 13 Final - Best of 15 All the best to everyone who enters Fletch

League News

The League will start on the 2nd of September 2009, and break up for the Christmas Holidays on the 9th of December, and finish on the 21st of April 2010

There will be 14 teams in the first Division and 15 in the Second, teams who were promoted to Division 1 are Crown A (Division 2 Champions)
Vic Felin B who were runners up and also Eagles B who were in third place.

There was only one team that was relegated to Division 2 which was CTFC A due to the Newborough Pennionyn A and Four Alls Gors Bach B not renewing their Membership of the League

There will be a Free Week in the second division due to Div 2 having 15 teams, there will be no matches played on the 24th of February for either Divisions this date has been set aside for the Noel Owen Memorial Shield or Cup

There will be no matches for the first division on the 25th of November or the 2nd of December and again on 7th of April and 14th of April these will be used for Cup Matches etc. IE Division 1 Cup Singles Doubles etc.
