Tickets are now on Sale £3.50 ask your captain for details or you can contact me direct on 07833 140 785, in order for us to cater for everyone please make sure you book your tickets early,Unfortunately  we have had to increase the ticket price due to the current economical climate the cost of food for the buffet has gone up and also the cost of the Entertainment..Even if you have not won anything come along and enjoy the evening Support your league.

Open Singles 2009

 There will be an Open Singles
Competition again this year.  Support your League.  Give your name and £5 entry fee to your team Captain by 31 January 2009 or you can send your entry form to me directly Address on the back of League Scorecards

On behalf of the Caernarfon & District Pool League i would like to thank once again to Mr. John Whitehead of Dodrefn Cymru - Furniture Wales for sponsoring the league, John has also given various other donations as well as sponsoring one of the leagues players to play for Wales, with out sponsorship from people like  John the league would find it very difficult to survive. Can i just remind all Captains that the deadline for the returns of the Singles & Doubles is the 3rd of November 2008.

The Draw will be done on the Monday Night (3rd November) so be in it to win it. 

It was discussed and passed at our last Committee meeting that all the Second division Quarter Finals will be held at Caernarfon Town Football Supporters Club, a date has yet to be fixed probably at the end of February beginning of March 2009 on a Sunday, it will be tried out this years on a trial basis and it it successful then we might try it with the other cups Challenge Cup and Division 1 Cup as the Committee find it very extremely difficult to find Dates to play Cup games with so many other competitions and people with different commitments either playing Snooker Darts etc hopefully this might be a solution to the problem, CTFC have come up trumps again by buying 4 brand new tables which will help the league immensely as we now have a venue for future competitions and also perhaps one day we might have a Wales team visiting us for friendlies.

Submitted by the Secretary of the Welsh Open Tour Committee:
As most of you are aware it was the intention of the WOT Committee to run a North Wales satellite of the tour this year, however time constraints and various other factors meant that we couldn’t get it off the ground in time and it was felt therefore that we would put all our efforts into making sure that there was a fully sanctioned North Wales Open Tour up and running for next Season. However, in the meantime, in order to gauge interest and encourage players, Kevin Roberts and Paul Williams have set up an unofficial North Wales Open Tour which is played on the same weekends as the WOT.

This is proving to be well supported and successful and is growing with each event, with a very high standard of play being evident. A lot of the players involved have supported the WOT since its inception and as a result the WOT Committee have considered matters fully and it has been decided to reward the players who support the NWOT with 4 spaces in the Welsh Teams for Bridlington.
The top 2 players at the end of the Season will be given 2 places in the B1s and the third and fourth placed players will each be given a place in the B2s. This is just the start of what we hope will be a regeneration of the relationship between players throughout Wales and dependent on the success of the NWOT this year all matters will be reviewed prior to the start of next Season......Continued....

Alan Mark Roberts & Ian Plemming have me contaced me (Steven Tindal) for  help to arrange a sponsered cycle ride for ysgol pendalar,It will start in Caernarfon and finish in Cardiff,if anyone is interested please let me know, they are planning to arrange it for the start of August 2008, any kind of help would be welcomed or if anyone is free to drive the mini bus along the route please contact one of the site administrators for my contact details.

Gors Bach Summer Singles League

Will be held on the 4th of June running for 8 to 9 weeks- closing date for entries is the 23rd of may with names to be drawn on the 25th of may at the Gors Bach. £25 entrance for each player
