Right then, looks like these are our fixtures.
14/02/10 - Caernarfon A v Caernarfon B
21/03/10 - Caernarfon B v Bangor Blues
11/04/10 - Bye v Caernarfon B (We’ll probably play South Flintshire here)
16/05/10 - Caernarfon B v Bangor Blacks
13/06/10 - Welshpool B v Caernarfon B
11/07/10 - Caernarfon B v Welshpool A
15/08/10 - Welshpool Warriors v Caernarfon B
12/09/10 - Caernarfon B v Anglesey
10/10/10 - Amlwch v Caernarfon B
Two visits to Welshpool in 3 months is a bit of a pain but it could have been worse, it could have been 3 visits, so that’s something at least  .

A note to the new players to ensure that they wear shoes, trousers and either a polo shirt or a shirt on Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to order some county polo shirts on Sunday as well.

Hey Pugwash, what time is the county match cueing off? I am working till 3pm, was hoping to stop by on my way home to give MY Darren and you guys some support tomorrow...plus a couple of pints

Unlucky today lads. I felt that 26-12 was a bit harsh. A few frames could have gone either way and we could have picked up a few more points but Caernarfon A were worth the win in the end to be fair. If only we were as clinical in the first 3 sessions as we were in the last one.
Congrats to Gareth Gillard on winning man of the match for us. Totally deserved on the day. Congrats also to Jonathan Jones for winning his first county game and playing very well in the process.

24-12, i think wasn't a fair reflection on the teams performance, unfortunatley we didn't take our chances which was the deciding factor in the result obviously and things would ave been alot different. For 3 sessions the A team couldn't do anything wrong when potting and missing balls.
Congratulations to Gillard on his MOTM for us and Gwynfor for his MOTM, 4/4 played very well.
I still think we can do something this season and confident that we ave the players to do it.
Home to Bangor Blues next month, see ya there lads. |

19(+2)-17 win for us today. Got a bit hairy towards the end after we threw away a 17-10 lead to stumble over the finish line. Some good performances nonetheless with Steve Wroe winning a deserved Man of the Match. Could have gone to either Dylan Williams or Gareth Gillard as well who, like Steve, also won 3/4.
Next definite game is on 16/5/10 which is home again to Bangor Blacks. I'm still waiting to hear back off the South Flintshire captain for a date for our rearranged match.

18-18 against Welshpool yesterday. Every session was 5-4 one way or the other and it went right down to the wire. Some good performances all round (and some bad ones as well, mostly from me) from both teams and a well deserved MoM for Ant Ashcroft who, despite getting whitewashed in the first game, won his last 3 frames. Phil Jones (Alma) also played well and may even have won 4 out of 4 if he wasn't too drunk to remember what colour he was on  .
Apologies to the lads who weren't asked to come but as we didn't have the minibus we couldn't afford to take more than 2 cars which meant there was only room for 9 players and me. Turns out we could have used another player because Bud never turned up and I ended up having to play. Hopefully we won't have that problem again this season because I've been told Club will have a new minibus by our next away game in Welshpool (again).
Next game on 11th July, home against Welshpool A.
I'll try and get round to posting the up to date stats some time this week.
